History is the past events of development of a people

History is the past events of development of a people. We have always been reading history as a source of knowledge which provides information of events held in past. In history we find different varieties of people, some deserve great and other fairly deserve that title.
Leading the struggle for Indian independence from Great Britain through his campaign of passive resistance and noncooperation, known as 'truth and firmness'. Mohandas Gandhi Indian nationalist leader, established freedom through a nonviolent revolution. Martin Luther King, American churchman and Nobel Prize winner, one of the principal leaders of the American civil rights movement and a prominent advocate of nonviolent protest. King’s challenges to separation and racial discrimination in the 1950s and 1960s helped convince many white Americans to support the cause of civil rights in the United States. Thus those people deserve title “great” due to their great deserving works.

Albert Einstein, German-born American physicist and Nobel Prize winner, best known as the creator of the special and general theories of relativity and for his bold hypothesis concerning the particle nature of light. He is perhaps the most well-known scientist of the 20th century. And Aristotle, Greek philosopher and scientist, who shares with Plato and Socrates the distinction of being the most famous of ancient philosophers. His works on natural science include Physics, which gives a vast amount of information on astronomy, meteorology, plants, and animals. His writings on the nature, scope, and properties of being, which Aristotle called First Philosophy, were given the title Metaphysics in the first published edition of his works, because in that edition they followed Physics. Both deserve the title “great “due to their great contribution in Science.

William Shakespeare, English dramatist and poet, recognized in much of the world as the greatest of all dramatists. Hundreds of editions of his plays have been published, including translations in all major languages. Scholars have written thousands of books and articles about his plots, characters, themes, and language. He is the most widely quoted author in history, and his plays have probably been performed more times than those of any other dramatist. And Pablo Picasso, Spanish painter did many contributions to the history of art, his most important include pioneering the modern art movement called cubism, inventing collage as an artistic technique, and developing assemblage in sculpture. They are great from history of art and literature.

Adolf Hitler, German political and military leader and one of the 20th century's most powerful dictators. Hitler converted Germany into a fully militarized society and launched World War II in 1939. He made anti-Semitism a keystone of his propaganda and policies and built the Nazi Party into a mass movement. He hoped to conquer the entire world, and for a time dominated most of Europe and much of North Africa. He instituted sterilization and euthanasia measures to enforce his idea of racial purity among German people and caused the slaughter of millions of Jews, Sinti and Roma, Slavic peoples, and many others, all of whom he considered inferior. His positive works are less than negative ones. So he can’t be honored by title great. Though he has contributed for his country and can be great for the people of Germany but in the eye of the world he is an origin of war.
