Does satellite technology promote sense of global village?
Smallest  number  of  grouped  families  living  together  in  a  specific  region  in  village.
Technology developed from Stone Age to 21

 century united all small villages to global village,
which occupy entire world and entire peoples. Obviously above sentence is true and I support
the sense of global village. Village is the place where each helps others; it can bring peace in a
community. Likewise global village can bring global peace. Satellite technology, which is directly
linked to satellite, it is an instrument or a machine which revolves round the earth and transfer
data from one place to other on the earth. It is boon to human, that we can use satellite in our
lives. It is the miracle of scientist; we should salute all scholar scientists who had made this. It
covers all entire worlds in a single display.
Nowadays, feeling of brotherhood, patriots, nationalism is increasing, which may lead to
violence, cold war or even third world war, which may destroy all the human being as well its
species. Increasing in nuclear energy in world, more peoples depend on it, if it will used it
destroy whole globe. Many countries like US, Iran etc have been built nuclear bombs, which
may leads to war too. Thus in this critical condition promoting sense of global village is great
thing which is possible by satellite technology. People can travel from one place to other by
train,  airplane  which  even  flies  faster  than  speed  of  sound.  Peoples  can  go  anywhere  in a
minute  which  gives  sense  of  global  village.  Travelling  is  not  mainly  factor  of  globalization.
Communication makes entire world as village. We can help others, who live in other part of the
world in a minute through communication. There were communications before 19

too; there wasn’t any satellite technology before that. Peoples use wired communication which
is hard and not comfortable, which is expensive and can’t use by ordinary people. After Second
World War USA and Russia launched satellite to communicate through telephone. Gradually
many countries launches satellite for purpose of communication, research etc.
  Mainly  television,  radio,  telephone,  internet  communication  where  done  through
satellite,  which  is  cheap  than  old  technology.  Many  people  are  connected  through
communicating device like mobile, internet and so on. Countries like Nepal, which is under
developing, above 60 percent use mobile phones. Any can connected with each other in a
second. We can send email above 60 percent use mobile phones. Any can connected with each
other in a second. We can send email to any corner of the world using internet. Any can call
over the world in cheap price. We can views news or anything else, which is recently held or
happened over world, which is possible by satellite technology. If there is a crisis over a country
all knows that. If there cause some natural calamities in an Africa we collect donation which is
possible by communication. By e-hospital doctor sitting in US can treat patient in Nepal. It
concur all world into single village.
In conclusion, sense of global village should be increased and is increasing due to use of
modern technology. The major role to promote sense of global village is of satellite technology
and all the rewards go to it.
